The "Hotel Bellevue" Snare Drum
When I was a kid in the 1970’s my parents used to travel a lot by car. Mostly from Germany to Italy, which meant a quite long drive for a kid. Anyway, we used to stay in a hotel that was called The Bellevue. A stunning old and charming one with an even older green safe behind the reception. I was so fascinated by this huge safe and all the money and jewelry that had to be in there.
An even more exciting experience was the room party at 666. Curious, like children often are, I used to sneak out of bed every night and looked through the tiny keyhole. Bless my heart! Now take a look inside this drum through the hole: It blows your mind!
